Still called the SkyDome by many Blue Jay fans, the Rogers Centre is home of Canada’s only professional baseball franchise. An architectural marvel at the time of its opening, it was the first retractable roof stadium, allowing events to be held year-around in Toronto, regardless of the weather. Toronto was awarded an expansion franchise in 1976 after relocation attempts by several other baseball teams failed, including the San Francisco Giants. The city did not have a baseball only facility for the team and had to retrofit the football only stadium, Exhibition Stadium. In 1977 the Blue Jays made their debut in Toronto, playing at Exhibition Stadium for 12 seasons.

28 Days Later is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland. It stars Cillian Murphy as a bicycle courier who awakens from a coma to discover the accidental release of a highly contagious, aggression-inducing virus has caused the breakdown of society. Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns, and Brendan Gleeson appear in supporting roles.

At the Cambridge Primate Research Centre a security monitor shows that a masked man has managed to enter the restricted zone and is making his way towards the lab where the Chimpanzees are located..He holds up a plastic cover which he places over a security camera's lens to block any images..
The masked man looks through a thick glass window and into the laboratory.. The masked men speaks out "Bingo" as he realises he is in the correct area of the research centre. (Slow synthesizer sound is heard)
A sliding sound is heard as a masked man slides a security card downwards into the reader attached to the wall. Electronic clack and beeping is heard as the security door opens allowing the masked group access..Chimpanzees begin to hoot from the commotion of the masked men..
A dead chimpanzee is seen lying on an operating table..Shadows appear from the masked men across the back wall as they silently make there way furthur into the laboratory. Garland took inspiration from George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead film series and John Wyndham's 1951 novel The Day of the Triffids. Filming took place in various locations in the United Kingdom in 2001. The crew filmed for brief periods during early mornings and temporarily closed streets to capture recognisable and typically busy areas when they were deserted. John Murphy composed an original soundtrack for the film, with other instrumental songs by Brian Eno, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and other artists also being featured.

He quickly walks forward before quickly taking his mask of with his right hand. Chimpanzees follow him in there cages..
The chimpanzee tied to an operating table becomes more alive as it lifts it's head from the commotion.. The chimp softly coos,
A female activist is concerned for the well being of the primates..She looks towards the chimpanzee that is tied down onto an operating table.. The chimpanzee turns it's head around towards her as it softly grunts.. Slow synthesizer melody continues..
A male activist looks over silently towards the female gang member as he contemplates a solution..The chimp on the table has two large prods attached to it's brain..
TV screens continously flash images and scenes of horror violence and distruction from the past..

Reviewers praised Boyle's direction, the cast's performances, Garland's screenplay, the atmosphere and soundtrack. Despite Boyle not considering it a zombie film, 28 Days Later is credited with reinvigorating the zombie genre of horror film and influencing a revival in the decade after its release, with its fast-running infected and character-driven drama. Since its release, it has been featured in several "best-of" film lists and maintained a following, particularly amid the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2020s.
The film was followed by the 2007 sequel 28 Weeks Later, the 2007 graphic novel 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, and the 2009—2011 comic book series 28 Days Later.

Suddenly a lab technician appears with a hot drink in his hand.. He has noticed the intruders as he stands motionless while staring down into the laboratory..The technician is silent but slowly begins to panic as he realises the serious situation..
The technician suddenly flops his drink to the floor and turns around as he quickly runs towards a security telephone system.. Members of the animal rights group have also spotted the technician and begin to give chase..
The technician quickly pulls open a small metal door and pulls out a telephone, The technician begins to speak with a rushed and worried tone of voice, "Security, we have a break in".."Get to sector....." His words are cut short as a male gang member robustly forces the phone from the technicians hand and slams it back onto a clip.. A loud clack is heard as the phone hits the floor.
Technician is scared for his life..Gang member grabs technician around the neck and pulls him back into the lab away from the phone..Technician gasps for air, technician stops and looks into the eyes of an activist..
Chimp hoots loudly, Technician speaks with a winded voice, "I know who you are".. Technician turns his head right and gulps as he continues, "I know what you think your doing"..
Another activist speaks loudly to the lab tech, "If you don't want to get hurt"..Keep your mouth shut and don't move a fucking muscle.." The activist turns as he attempts to unlock a cage..
The lab tech shouts out with fear, "The chimps are infected".. There highly contagious" The activist stops in his tracks and turns his head at the information"..Lab tech continues, They have been given an inhibitor" Lab tech shakes his hands up and down as he expresses his concerns.

The lab tech raises up his outstretched right arm as he attempts to stop the activists from there plan..
The activist wanting the cages open quickly grabs the lab tech and pushes him up against a wall..The activist is in a bad mood as he shouts out, Listen you sick bastard! We're going and were taking your torture victims with us."

The injured woman is now infected with the Rage virus and will continue to bite and infect as many people as possible..More blood squirts from her mouth as she sits on the floor unable to control the powerful symptoms..The woman shrieks like a zombie as she begins to chase others.. An activist shouts, "What's the matter with her" The lab technician quickly finds a metal chair as he shouts "we have to kill her now.. The technician is stoked as he hoots with fear while running back to the infected woman who he intends to kill with the heavy duty chair.
Hoot from a chimp is heard - The lab technician breaths in and out at speed as he builds up the strength to kill the infected woman. The woman shrieks and growls as she takes hold of a pipe with her right hand. The lab tech shouts, Oh God!..
