Night Caves - Journey into the Depths
Night Caves - Journey into the Depths - Jolanda Moletta

Vocal-based ambient music is a very particular niche, one that houses some of the genre’s greatest vibes and achievements. It takes outstanding courage and a steadfast dedication to this aesthetic choice to venture out into these waters, and only the finest voices who take the plunge will rise to the surface. Enter Jolanda Moletta, a multi-media artist and vocalist from Italy. Her journey towards the music that eventually became Night Caves, recorded in her native Italy after years spent living abroad, led Moletta to explore naturally resonant spaces within the regions of Piedmont and Liguria. Or, in other words, the titular caves. Sea caves, to be exact. And mountains.
‘The landscape I encountered was unlike anything I’d ever seen on our planet’s surface. It actually felt like being on another planet. It was as though I had entered a sacred and secret space, far from the anxieties and worries of our modern world. Some of these caves have taken millions of years to form. There hasn’t been much change in these spaces since our ancestors explored them thousands of years ago.‘

Ms. Hatsune Miku called me again, she wants to do some classic songs from now on. New Order released Bizarre Love Triangle on this day 39 years ago! This song changed my life.

New Order are an English rock band formed in Salford in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook, and drummer Stephen Morris. Their fusion of post-punk and electronic dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. The band was formed after the disbandment of their previous band, Joy Division, following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. Later that year, keyboardist Gillian Gilbert joined the band. They became the flagship band for the Manchester-based independent record label Factory Records and its nightclub, The Haçienda. They worked in a long-term collaboration with graphic designer Peter Saville who worked on their album covers.

Miku's Instant Crush
Miku's Instant Crush Astrophysics
Lyrics of Instant Crush by Daft Punk, Julian Casablancas
verse
I didn′t want to be the one to forget
I thought of everything I'd never regret
A little time with you is all that I get
That′s all we need because it's all we can take
One thing I never see the same when your 'round
I don′t believe in him, his lips on the ground
I wanna take you to that place in the "Roche"
But no one gives us any time anymore
He asked me once if I′d look in on his dog
You made an offer for it, then you ran off
I got this picture of us, gets in my head
And all I hear is the last thing that you said
pre-chorus
"I listened to your problems
Now listen to mine"
I didn't want to anymore, oh oh oh
chorus
And we will never be alone again
′Cause it doesn't happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
′Cause I know it unlocks like a door
And we will never be alone again
'Cause it doesn′t happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
Some more again
verse
It didn't matter what they wanted to see
He thought he saw someone that looked just like me
That summer memory that just never dies
We worked too long and hard to give it no time
He sees right through me, it's so easy with lies
Cracks in the road that I would try and disguise
He runs his scissors at the seem in the wall
He cannot break it down or else he would fall
One thousand lonely stars hiding in the cold
Take it, I don′t wanna sing anymore
pre-chorus
"I listened to your problems
Now listen to mine"
I didn′t want to anymore, oh oh oh
chorus
And we will never be alone again
'Cause it doesn′t happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
'Cause I know it unlocks like a door
And we will never be alone again
′Cause it doesn't happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
′Cause I know it unlocks like a door
verse
I don't understand, don't get upset
I′m not with you
We′re swimming around
It's all I do, when I′m with you
chorus
And we will never be alone again
'Cause it doesn′t happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
'Cause I know it unlocks like a door
And we will never be alone again
′Cause it doesn't happen every day
Kinda counted on you being a friend
Can I give it up or give it away?
Now I thought about what I wanna say
But I never really know where to go
So I chained myself to a friend
'Cause I know it unlocks like a door

Whether he's being used as a comforting figure or a threat, I've always been surrounded by it. It's not really something you can walk away from. And I'd rather just sit with it than be like 'Fuck the church!'"

Ariel Pink - Everyone's Wrong (Official Video)

Ariel Marcus Rosenberg born June 24, 1978), professionally known as Ariel Pink, is an American musician, singer, and songwriter whose work draws heavily from the popular music of the 1960s–1980s. His lo-fi aesthetic and home-recorded albums proved influential to many indie musicians starting in the late 2000s. He is frequently cited as the "godfather" of the hypnagogic pop and chillwave movements, and he is credited with galvanizing a larger trend involving the evocation of the media, sounds, and outmoded technologies of prior decades, as well as an equal appreciation between high and low art in independent music.

During a discussion of his religious views in 2012, Pink stated that he was always "reluctant to be religious, to fully embrace the tenets of Christianity or Judaism or whatever, but I also don't fully fall in with the science crew either". When asked if he celebrated Hanukkah, he explained that he did not, except when his parents invited him to do so. In a 2010 interview with Heeb Magazine, he remarked that people who boast of their Jewish pride are "fucking stupid". He explained: "I'm totally against all that. I think you're a man of the world. Worldly. We're all from the same DNA strand, you know. It's like potatoes are our brothers. So, so, so silly.
